I noticed the “hit reply to frustratingly jump to the top of the story” feature is back on the front page. Sad, all i wanted to do was to tell Jason his piece was gold.

After reading a similar thread, I was able to get the stars to work by #1:disabling my ad-blocker “for this page only”.
#2 If that doesn’t work, try doing that and then do #1, then try refreshing the page.
#3 If it still doesn’t work, try #1, then hold SHIFT while refreshing
#4 The Kinja person who responded to the other thread suggested disabling your ad-blocker(s) and restarting your browser. IMO, this is lousy advice/policy, especially as a first and only solution. However, if nothing else is working and it’s important to you to have your vote count, try it.
I’m happy to disable my ad-blocker(s) for pages with quality content that aren’t click-bait or filled with ads that take over the whole screen. I’ll pay for good pages with with eyeballs, but there are too many sites that are all ads and little or no substance.
